    Air France
Air France pilots walked off the job Monday, Sept 15, 2014. Thousands of passengers impacted.

AF canceled 52% of its flights on Monday as a result of the job action. Pilots are protesting the airline’s plans to move much of its European flying to a low-cost subsidiary, which would result in lower pay for many pilots. The strike could extend throughout the entirety of the week.

The airline says 60% of their pilots are participating in the strike, but the union says it's 75%.

    Lufthansa
LH Pilots were planning a strike Sept 16, the 4th in 3 weeks, but it was called off. The strikes are in response to proposed changes in retirement benefits, which include raising the early retirement age. Lufthansa wants to adjust the age because pilots can now fly until they reach 65.

They had planned a strike from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at FRA will impact long-haul flights, but after the airline announced schedule changes to move 40 of the flights to other time slots the pilots called off the action.
