    I'm not a fan of the new changes who go directly against the passengers! :(

    Let's hope that Aer Lingus will find a better solution to this newly created problem. I hope that common sense wins out! ;)

    This seems like a business move by Aer Lingus to encourage folks to buy Duty Free on board instead of at the airport.

    Maybe. Or they could be looking to make money on the carry-on baggage fees. They're not a charity, they're a business, and if they think they can make money doing this, they ought to do it.
