|| Aer Lingus chief executive Christoph Mueller gets pay hike to €1.29m ||
I would say so, he has stirred Aer Lingus successfully away from Ryanair, he brought in a new structure regarding flights, pricing and work conditions for employees.
Overall, he does a good job and grows Aer Lingus further in the right direction which also incl. leasing planes to Virgin so they can start their " Little Red " domestic services in the UK, plus he's responsible for bringing Aer Arann into the fold of Aer Lingus with their Aer Lingus Regional offering and branding. It's an overall interesting time for Aer Lingus and we will see what Ryanair tries next and of course how possible suitors, incl. maybe Etihad would take-over / invest into the airline.
