    Howdy folks -

Both my SPG (biz/personal) are up for renewal this month and I have 70k Starwood points sitting in my account. If I wanted to cancel both Starwood cards (I don't use them often at all), can I do so without worrying that my SPG points will be lost?

Also, if I don't have a plan for my SPG points yet and I have to move them somewhere, which partner is the most versatile program to transfer/park them in for awhile?

    Thx in advance!

SPG points don't expire until 12 months after the last stay or points are earned so you don't have to transfer right now.
