The latest incident where the TSA defends the traveling public:

TSA stands by officers after pat-down of elderly woman in Florida

The original story said that the TSA required this woman to have her diaper removed (as described by the daughter), then the TSA saying its screener went by the book.

Now, the TSA is saying the removal request didn't happen.

And right at the beginning of the week and when there really isn't any big news to feed the 24-hour news cycle right now. TSA spin doctors are going to be sleeping a little less this week.

    Good.

If true, this story is really pathetic...training the TSA in professionalism and common sense would help a lot!

I applaud this woman for allowing public attention to be drawn to her unnecessary embarrassment thereby documenting yet again the absurdity of the current TSA procedures.
