    LINK.

If this sort of thing appeals to you, might as well hope on it and buy a few. 40% savings since they're normally $50.

I believe anyone getting a new AA CC will get 2 passes in the mail.

To me this is one of the best parts of today's sale: The $30 pass, while obviously good only for a day, can be used up to a year from now. Seems a good buy to me.

Even if you take just one rt with one companion, here is what I regard as the better deal: a one-month membership to AC at $99. You don't have to have any status, need not be flying AA, can use it for one full month, and also bring in two guests.

Cool. I think it is time to use my Amex Platinum $200 reimbursement.

You get free access to the Admirals club with Amex Platinum already. Why would you waste the fee reimbursement on something you already get as a benefit for "free"?

Follow this FT thread to see how others are using their $200 fee credit with AA:

    http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/amer...ine-fee-reimbursement-reports-aa-only-10.html

There's probably some way to get reimbursed for AA gift certs. Read that thread.

Yes, but that is only if you are flying on AA on the same day. I'm more of a UA kinda guy at the moment. ;)

So then where are going to be able to use the Admirals Club?

Which airline did you select for the Amex Plat fee reimbursement?

You get access to US Air clubs with or without a ticket already via your Amex Platinum card, and there are several ways to get UC passes or a free year in the UC via the Chase United Club credit card code (ask for the application with the code at any United Club front desk, even if you aren't using the club that day.)

Haven't decided exactly where I would use them yet (perhaps I may gift them).

I selected AA for the reinbursement and got 4 $50 gift certificates in 2011.

Will look for the United App next time I'm in a lounge.
