This place is filled with acronyms. Some, like airport codes, are easy to figure out from context. Others not so.

Is there a post with a guide to the common acronyms used here? It would make a great newbie sticky.

VR MS HIGC GC ... just four of the ones that I've figured out so far.

Welcome to MilePoint. There is a feature if you double click on a word a pop screen will appear with the explanation.

Sent from my iPhone using milepoint

Welcome to MilePoint. The double-click feature is very useful but quite incomplete outside of airports and airlines.

As noted, use the dynamic acronym finder by double clicking on a term. All four of the terms you noted: VR, MS, HIGC, GC are in our online tool.

Thanks and welcome. Also if ever you come across something that is not yet included, do all members a favor and submit HERE.

I tried the acronym popup on that word 'HERE" but it doesn't translate. I think it means Higher Earnings Redeem Easily, but I'm not certain that is applicable to those of us who fly Delta.

Well that's easy. It's also nonstandard. But it's great. Thanks for the education.

You likely just needed to clear your cache. I just highlighted HERE and a definition popped up in my upper right screen. It did not mention Delta ... but did not mention others by name either!

And with proper redemption, you can go HERE, there and everywhere. There is easy, however everywhere is at high redemption levels.

The reason why MP is one of my favorite forums of all time. I wish other forums did this. Good job founders.

No longer working for me, perhaps since the upgrade. I'll post in the Bug reports.

How does one do that on an iOS device?

There are no known solutions at this moment, but that has not prevented us from trying to find one. We've yet to find a developer that can mimmic a 'double click' on an iOS device outside of the home button. Still trying.

Maybe this is just me, but the double-click feature doesn't seem to work anymore in Chrome as of a few days ago. Any ideas? Thanks in advance from someone who's still very much learning. :)

Works just fine now. when we added a new update we had a day or so of fine tuning the dynamic glossary (for the upgrade) since it is custom build for Milepoint.
