I refer to your email dated xxx yyyy

I understand that you do have inquiry regarding Le Club Accorhotels loyalty (status match) and we will be more than happy to assist you further.

The Le Club Accorhotels Program assigns four possible status levels based on the number of nights stayed or on the number of points earned over a twelve (12) month period (365 days).

Status levels are defined are as follows:

Le Club Accorhotels Silver: From 10 nights or 2,500 points earned over 365 days

Le Club Accorhotels Gold: From 30 nights or 10,000 points earned over 365 days

Le Club Accorhotels Platinum: From 60 nights or 25,000 points earned over 365 days

As soon as you reach a higher level, you keep that status for a duration of twelve months (expiration at the end of the last month). At the end of this period, your status is recalculated based on your cumulated activity over the 365 consecutive days (number of points and number of nights).

Currently, our loyalty program does not have any status match with our hotel competitor i.e Hilton, IHG, Starwood etc. In the future, if we do have this option, we will communicate it further.

We appreciate your understanding regarding this matter.

I think qualifying the hard way with Accor would be far too painful

Depends on how often you stay in their hotels. ;)

The bigger issue, IMO, is the lack of value in said status.

I find the Accor Platinum benefit slightly better than IHG Club Platinum. At least with Accor you do now get Lounge access if the property has a lounge.

I know this is starting to veer off track... but my experience with certain IHG properties as a Platinum had been great.
I guess what I am trying to say is that it all boils down to the property :)
