Great service recovery on Singapore Airlines's part!
Here are some pictures from a friend.
Wow, glad this didn't happen on my 6 segments on SQ last month. Of course, the timing of it stinks.... had this happened after meal service as opposed to during it, the cabin wouldn't have gotten so trashed.
Holy crap, not sure what else to say.
I'd say : Respect the weather and crew...and when they say fasten your seat belts whilst seated or when they turn on the signs...it's not for fun
Wow. I totally agree with SQuealer. Listen and follow the advice don't walk around. I am always paranoid about people asking for hot beverages on plane
Speaking of which, I hope everyone had flushed before the flight hit that air pocket.
I am happy that I wasn't on that flight and I hope all passengers took the time to thank the crew for cleaning that mess.
I'm not a Singapore flyer (though I'd sure like to redeem some UA miles there some day).
Anyway, I heard about this story elsewhere and felt compelled to come and share this article about the incident.
Specifically, the last line from that article.....
