I recently had an IRROPS issue on a flight back from Europe when the LH CNX flight was going to make me miss my AC flight. LH rebooked me on LH in the same J class as my AC ticket but it then became a non AC AQD flight. I worked through the YYZ concierge office who passed it on to a senior customer service person. I had everything corrected within 24hours.

Well, that's a great comfort, then.

I am still deeply curious to see how the AQDs shall work out in practice when the end of the year comes around.

While the AQD issue is off to at best an uneven start it does seem to be coming around to where I can get my ancient head around their pricing inputs. I think we will all understand it better in the coming weeks.

I think it's related to how much a woodchuck can chuck. :D

I propose an experiment. Take any published random-number table of your choice. Normalise it to percentages (00 through to 99), and then multiply the base fares by those random percentages.

At the end of the year, see how close you came.
