I am making my 2nd trip west, last week and this week, and am having no issues with getting Eupgrades close in on my pass. The 48 hour upgrade window has been wide open for all my domestic flights so far since march 1.

    Anybody else having this experience?

No data to report, but I imagine with the drop in oil patch commuters it should increase availability of upgrades quite a bit.

My partner is seeing the same thing on YYZ/YVR as well.

Oh, but that there were upgrades on YVR>YCD/YQQ!

I can see it now: "lawn chair on which wing, madame?"

    Less flippantly, though:

If I can settle in to an exit-row or bulkhead aisle in back of the bus, that's fine with me. The vast bulk of my travel is within the Western Marches, anyway, and unless a bulkhead seat is available in J, there's zero zilch nada point in upgrading. For what. a cheese plate, some nuts, and a glass of (admittedly-decent) wine?
