I tried to check out the seats on my upcoming flight. AA redirects me to BA for my trans-altantic portion. Usually it takes me to the seating chart, but now BA shows a login to enter your record locator and last name. Did it a few times and nada; it just kept redirecting me to enter the same information.

Is anyone else having a problem? I assume the problem exists on the BA side, but you know what they say about assuming...;)

I forgot about BA using their own record locators on itineraries such as these. I'll give that a try, and thanks for the advice.

Luckily my return is all on AA metal, although upgrades don't look promising. :(

After 30 minutes on hold I finally obtained the number. AA claimed because it's BA metal, I have to call BA to upgrade. BA says it's an AA ticket, so call them to upgrade. Both say they can't do it and keep referring to the other airline. I give up.

    Sadly, no. :(

Sigh. Thanks for the link, though.
