Could we expect a DFW-JFK ferry repositioning flight, perhaps?;)

I have flight 963, from DFW to GRU on dec 22, Saturday! I hope they keep this schedule and nothing changes due to mechanical failures! Can't wait to taste the new 773! I'm even going to book a flight for January based on this info to fly again!

And you're going all the way to GRU to take it? I am debating about doing the same thing. Maybe we should turn it into a GIG mini-DO, we could even charter a plane from Rio to get us there in better style.

Since January I'm flying in/out Brasil via GRU, because I prefer the 777! Last December I applauded AA for putting the 777 on GIG - JFK! I still believe they should operate at least one route to/from GIG with a 777. Due to the lack of equipment I booked all my flights now to/from GRU and the rest I go with GOL for the moment! Now, regarding the GIG mini - DO count me in! I thinks it's a time for a Brasil DO, I think we never had any! ;)

This is just the initial schedule, things can and will change I'm sure, so there's hope yet. :) Plus AA has made it clear they want to focus on their areas of strength, and South America is clearly where AA reigns supreme. No surprises there.

A Brazil Do would be a great way to kick off the new year with a MR!

Saw the seat maps for awards around noon. Only F available is like 2 daya in January! Already booked or pre-blocked?

I hope they bring it to lax as well. It is the longest flight to london, might as well enjoy the new seats for a bit longer than dfw or jfk.

Not to mention a very very profitable, popular flight. I'm sure we'll see a 773 on LAX-LHR soon enough-- only caveat to that statement would be as/if/how BA/AA share up that route and if at some point it's sort of "handed off" to BA since it's 100% JBV in any case.

But far more likely, IMHO, is AA 773 on LAX-LHR next year.

I flew LAX-LHR-LAX last December on an AA ticket...LAX-LHR was on a BA 744 and LHR-LAX was on a 772. I had J tix for both flights, but used a SWU for the return to bump to F...very nice indeed...

Not that I know, but rest assured that as soon as it's available someone will be running through this forum with the news immediately following. ;)

I think your right. I would like one less BA flight out of LAX and a 2nd service from AA like in the past. These planes from LAX go out and come back pretty full. Almost every time I fly out of JFK, I'm shocked to see how empty the planes are. Maybe its off days that I travel, but a few time in coach, I had a whole 5 row to myself and when in J, there was only a few of us in the cabin. I did F from JFK a few months back, it was quite full, but I think there was a lot of non revs in the cabin.

Rumors circling the net that AA's new planes might be taking a delay due to an issue at the manufacturer of the new F seats. Will have to keep an eye on that inaugural date to see if it gets pushed back soon.

I just had a change of equipment on my flight GRU - DFW leaving FEB 6. They changed to a 767. I called the EXP DESK and they put me on the Flight next day withtout any penalties that will be a 77W, because I paid F and when I accessed the reservation I suddenly appeared on J on a 767. Now I'll be leaving GRU FEB 7.
