Couldn't see any revenue seats on AA. All I could see was an AAnytime Award each way, and I would rather not burn 110k miles for a domestic flight. Ideas?

The flight is sold out now, but yesterday plenty of lower priced buckets were widely available. DFW-ORD r/t could be had for just over $300, and anytime award seats were priced at much more reasonable 30k each way.

No MCE window seats available, but a few aisle and middles.

'sokay. I've got pictures of that photogenic wing from a handful of other flights. ;)

    I know; I just looked.

I like the view of the wing from the back and the A side should be in the shade rather than the sun for the flight. I was in 28L but just switched to A for that. Makes for better photography.

And you've got my seat assignment wrong in the OP. :p

Fixed. Should have known better than to type C next to your name.

    ETA: I guess C can be a window seat...on ER4.

Seats opened up again if anyone is looking. Unfortunately, at $579 OW, a little too rich for my blood.

Missed the discount booking window, but got in with an AAnytime award. Made it work for the flight home too (DFW-ORD-AUS for 30k). You can put me down for 10C.

FT has a much more extensive list of attendees here (and a wiki - MP threads need one too!). I count 47 combined FT/MPers right now.

Ooh, I might try and get on this now. Looks like they pulled the good routing rules I could try to use. Could usually get a KUP at $250 which is refundable

1st ORD-DFW is now unlikely for me :( By the time I got into a position where I could book the flight was full.

Ooh ORD-DFW opened up 1 seat just when I was finalising my ticket to SMD6. Nabbed 6D. Will be at ORD FL before the flight if anyone is around.

    On AC or BA?

Can you reroute via ORD & DFW?

BA direct flight, AA codeshared. Haven't checked the fare rules but will most likely incur some kind of cost if I do a reroute.

AA has renumbered the ORD-DFW to AA2334 (departure and arrival times unchanged). Check your bookings.

In my case AA rebooked me on an earlier flight so that I would have a shorter connection in ORD. Now fixed.
