AA2004 Diverted to DEN (Jan 29, 2012)

    Discovered this when playing around with FlightView.com today... No explanation for the diversion that I have been able to find...

    The lavs were not working properly and with each flush the water was backing up to the point of overflowing. It started in the back and they took them out of service telling everyone to use the two in the front. But those two eventually filled up too. We landed in Denver and it took about two minutes to fix the problem. Pilot indicated that the ground crew in LA failed to properly service the plane. After saying that he said "and that's all I can really say about that". You could tell he had more colorful language in mind. :)
