There are a few regional jets that I don't mind spending some time on...US AIrways E170/E175 and E190 come to mind, especially now that they have first class cabins.

If these are more CRJ's (which is probably the point of negotiations with the pilots and the AA cabin crews since RJ's are all Eagle jets at this point), I'm all for it. MUCH better than the Embraers. The CRJ's, especially the 900's, are fantastic. Hell, even the smaller CRJ's beat the Embraers.

I'm all about more regional jets if it means that SJC gets more flights/destinations! Like the others have said, the CRJs are actually quite comfy (at least up front :p)

I am not sure on that one. If you mean a CR7 beats a ERJ-135/145 then I agree totally. If you mean a CR100/200 beats a ERJ-135/145. Then I respectfully disagree. I find the CR200 as one of, if not, the worst commuter commercial planes in the domestic legacies. YMMV:)

I find the ERJ and E series superior to the corresponding CRJ. The A side of a ERJ-135/145 is much more enjoyable than the CRJ-100/200, and I just find the E-170/175 more comfortable than the CRJ-700. Plus the E series jets look more like mainline than the CRJ-700/900.
