Agreed. Glenlivet is my standard choice in F. The only other whisky is Dewars, which is swill. Not a classy move AA. Might as well serve Green Stripe.

Sad sad day. I guess I need to start collecting Glenlivet minis on US and try to swap them into admiral's club 1-day passes or 10% off codes on AA. Just picture me in the back of AA coach, walking up to the F lav and saying the following as I walk through F... "psst.. i got the stuff" and then dropping a Glenlivet mini on the tray table.

I don't drink so this isn't much of an issue for me.

I'd start a petition if they dropped ginger ale though. :)

For what it's worth, let's pace ourselves and wait for official word.

Upset customers should write letters to AA.

Why use logic with a possibly positive outcome when one can simply complain on TOBB....

Seems like they will continue finding petty things to cut on to save a buck.

To be fair, Glenlivet 12 isn't exactly top-shelf, although it is generally inoffensive and about as much as you'd expect in domestic F.

And they do have that down to an art.:) but that said but one should reasonably expect to get the very same perks as pre chap 11... .did some here actually become EXP on AA because of the label Scotch served (and a not particularly outstandoing one at that:)) ?

To clarify - we do not have plans at this point in time to replace Glenlivet onboard. There were some temporary liquor substitutions over the holidays.

Thanks for that. It was on my flight MIA-GIG last night and on MAD-MIA a couple fo days earlier, so I thought somebody must have had an error here.
