AA miles usage dumb question

    Can you use AA miles to upgrade on LAN if the ticket is LAN stock...?

    AA miles for upgrades are only on AA and on limited fare classes for BA and IB. LA, and any other OW airline, isn't an upgrade option at this time. :(

    Could always fly AA metal, and use for upgrades there.
