AA iPhone App Sign In Broken?

    The main website and mobile website are both working, but the iPhone app is giving a 503 error when I open it and it tries to auto-login. It's been happening since 6 am.

    Anyone else?

    An AA rep confirmed that the apps are having an issue. Stated that their "mid service layer is down" and that engineers are working to restore the connection. That was early this AM, so it's not fixed yet it seems.

    So you're not crazy, it's an bonafide issue and AA is aware of it.

    Yes! AA app is down! AA is down in a lot of thing these Last Days, specialy on promotions!

    Agree. They need new IT so bad.

    The app message is now an even more succinct "Error" without HTML tags. Progress perhaps?

    The AAdvantage account system dying regularly (was down monday too) and the fact that all tickets stop working online as soon as an agent touches them are both really painful. And the merger hasn't even started. At least AA has an app ;)

    Just upgraded my Android app and it appears to be throwing some "Error: service unavailable" errors, so perhaps it's still down in some cases. Good thing I don't need to fly for a week or two.

    Yes thank you for confirming - my account is back to normal too. Yay!

    But they still need an IT overhaul in web and ticketing.

    Yes, I am on a pc but am not getting the $59 upgrade offer when I click on the link.
