    American executive expresses doubts about US Airways merger

    It is completely understandable if the employees are concerned or have an opinion about various outcomes. Other than that, they don't know what will happen. Even the CEO doesn't. I would wait and see, and try to adapt to the final outcome.

    The CEO's job is to set a vision. With the restructuring thats harder to articulate until you're out of BK court, but a simple "AA will emerge as a profitable, growing airline that will expand service to customers through internal growth rather than external merger" would be enough.

    Another day, another story. Here is what i think will happen.......we will see at least 25 more (different) stories (rumors) before any thing happens.
