I'm a bit confused by the charts on this page: http://www.aa.com/i18n/AAdvantage/earnMiles/airlines/lan.jsp

If I'm flying from US to Argentina (South America 2) in Economy (O) after June 6, 2015, will the miles earned be considered "Other International" (25%) or "Within Argentina" (100%)?

    Thanks!

If the departure date is after June 6th, 2015. US to Argentina in O will be considered as 100% "Other International" not Within Argentina 25%.

US to Argentina is the longest route. But it's worth it! That's Iguazu Falls in my picture.

I was supposed to do that earlier this year. I'm jealous. JFK-SCL-GRU-IGU-LIM-JFK but had to cancel when family got sick.

Missed out on the EZE deal, but had hopped on the DFW-GRU deal, and will now head to Sao Paulo. I will definitely try to go to the fall from the Brazil side. :)
