Here we go again... couldn't pull up anything on my account, hopefully they won't break anything.
Seems to be working fine now. I just created an itinerary and put it on 24-hour hold. No problem.
I saw that also. The rest of the website was working fine for me.
The last time this happened while I was mid-booking I ended up with two identical reservations... two seats, same name, same flight, same day. Only one showed up in my "My Trips" folder, so I didn't notice this was a problem until I looked at my credit card statement. I called in and AA saw what I explained above, then promptly corrected the situation without any fuss or muss - canceled the duplicate reservation and issued a refund - but you might want to keep an eye out for a few weeks just to be sure.
AA.com is down completely right now - site doesn't even load - just dies on http://www.aa.com/common/errors/systemError.jsp?rt=true. EXP line is down too. And with that I will go to bed instead of trying to book my OW to return from my LH F trip across 3 continents.
It loads for me. Restart your browser or clear cache?
