    From AA:

DFW Storm Update: We have nearly 1,000 flight cancellations and DFW departures have been halted until 1:30 p.m. to clear runways and ramp areas. We’re working hard to get everyone on their way. Visit http://bit.ly/ALERTAA for more information.

This is every air traveler's worst nightmare, and it happens to us all eventually. Hope that your friend is safe and comfy for the night...

Wonder how those climate change deniers in the state are rationalizing huge snow storms in central Texas this month and last, along with a sustained several years of drought through most of the state? Of course, being the home of the petroleum world...and neanderthal politicians.

Meanwhile Canada's economy is dependent on oil and gas extraction, much of it using a very costly, energy-intensive and entirely destructive technology. If you removed Alberta's contribution to Canada's economy, Canada would be struggling. But it's always nice to hear preaching from the holier than thou
