I booked a MR to JNB out of SFO. I routed myself through LAX to fly the AA 77W to LHR. I booked this all in Economy (Fare class: O), and used my SWUs for LAX-LHR-LAX. Those upgrades have been wait listed. When I log onto the BA site to select my seats for the LHR-JNB-LHR flights, I noticed that their system is listing two flights, LAX-LHR x2, and LHR-LAX x2. One of the flights is booked in O, but the other one shows C.

Wondering if you could shed some light on this for me? Ive attached screenshots of what I see on BA and what I booked on AA.

    Thanks!!

Sounds like your upgrade requests have cleared.

UA has had something like this previously where the upgrade request sat in the background as a separate "hidden" segment on the same PNR but in a wait-listed state rather than a confirmed one. It actually still does show that way from time to time.

Given the slightly different syntax about seat options I wonder if that's not the case here as well.
