After being given thee separate and distinct reasons for a delay, we were rushed on board for the flight from JFK-BWI only to sit on board at the gate for 25 minutes. Then we pushed and they fired the engines with another 10 minutes sitting there...we began to taxi, did a big 180, and here we sit, waiting out a T-storm at JFK...

I hate this airport almost as much as ORD!

Everyone has a JFK story. When I was flying to Athens for the Olympics in 2004, my first segment was SFO-JFK. Thunderstorms closed the airport and we diverted to Stewart. Refueled and back to JFK, only to find lightning in the area had forced ground personnel indoors. Missed my IB flight to Madrid and rerouted on AA to LHR with them buying me a paid ticket on Olympic (are they still flying?) to Athens. Quite a memorable trip. Arrived at my hotel about 1 in the morning, about 8 hours late.
