If anyone is headed through ORD tomorrow I'll be there between 9am and 12:30pm

I can have you come in as a guest if they allow it? I haven't had a guest come in with me yet so not familiar with the process.

Nice of you to offer. It is allowed, you just have to bring them in with you.

If you bring someone in the AC, are you required to stay with that person? Or is that person required to leave when you do?

You are responsible for their behavior in the club, and yes, they are supposed to leave when you do. In practice, as long as your guest(s) behave themselves, I've never heard of that being enforced.

Nor could it be. When an AC member leaves a club, the staff has neither time nor inclination to sweep the club looking for guest leftovers. In fact, they probably won't even know you've left, unless you've gone to the trouble of staging a farewell scene (unlikely, to say the least ;)). So, unless your non-member guests get unduly unruly in your absence, they can probably stay there as long as they like. Or until closing time, whichever comes first.

For some reason I envisioned the farewell scene by the Singing Von Trapp family. :D

Bad idea -- then you'd have to pay the Singing VonTrAApp fee, which I understand is even higher than checking a second bag ;).

Note to self: play that song on my speaker phone while parading out of the United Club

This is only true for the regular AC, not the First Class Lounge. In the First Class they will ask you to leave the minute the person who invited you does, even with a half a sandwich still in your hand. At least in LAX they do (but you can move to the regular AC after that from what I remember). Incidentally, if anyone is flying out of JFK from T8 tomorrow, June 11th, I'd appreciate a guest in to AC around 10am. My flight is 1pm.

I'm not sure how true that is (at least nowadays). The Flagship at LAX is under a complete overhaul and I have yet to see anyone sweeping for guests. Heck, been there three times in the last few days and frankly, as long as you give the dining entrance to the staff, they sit at the desk and chat with each other. When I left they barely acknowledge. With the door to go to the AC (and restrooms) next to the entrance of the flagship, I can see shenanigans afoot if you're trying to stay as a guest

If you guest someone one in the flagship lounge in Chicago just leave out the back door, if they need to stay.

Most of the lounges they do not pay much attention, once you get in the door.

    Just my experiences

Maybe it's changed now. I was there a couple of years ago and not only the receptionist told me I'd have to leave after the person who invited me would, but she also made sure to find me after he did and to ask out.
