I had this for the summer and took advantage of it and it was promptly awarded after meeting the minimum. Nice way to earn points for buying furniture :D

Wait, this is a credit card promo? I thought it was a regular Q4 Hyatt promo with spend at their hotels when I read the OP/title.

It is broader and much better than that.
One can do all the spending at Hyatt properties and get the maximum possible because the earned points will include the maximum possible on the CC bonus:

    Base points + elite bonus + CC bonus (i.e. 3 GP points/$) + 5,000 promo points.

In other words, one would add to the numbers shown in the Table below for spend on a hotel stay (example 3) the number of base + elite bonus points earned. Concretely, I am a GP Plat so I get 15% elite bonus on base points for hotel stays, which award 5 points/$ as base points. If I spend all $3,000 on hotel stays, then I will haul in

    3,000 * 5 + 15% * (3,000 * 5) + 3,000 * 3 + 5,000 = 31,250 points of which 14,000 are from the CC promo.

With a 30% elite bonus, a GP Diamond would earn even more.

Nothing for me yet. I did receive the Spring and Summer promos though. I participated in the summer but not the spring.

The previous promos might have been from Hyatt. For this promo, the email in the first post above came from Chase.com. This is, of course, with Hyatt's cooperation or vice versa, but it is a credit card promo. However, since one can earn points on all kinds of purchases with the CC, with hotel stays earning the most, this is a very broad promo.

And additional question: as I am one night short of getting max bonus, can I stay one night at two different hotels in same city and get 2 nights towards this promo (sounds like wishful thinking... :))

All 4 nights count because the dates of validity of the promo are Oct 1 to Dec 31, inclusive. The primary requirement, however, is the spend on CC, which is, admittedly, greatly facilitated by long and relatively pricey stays...

It does not matter. As long as all the spend is at Hyatt properties, you will get the maximum number of points. The promo bonus is always maximum: 5,000 when one hits $3K spend on CC. Maximizing the points on the $3K will require spending it all on items that earn the most points on the CC, and that is hotel stays.

For me, it will be a mixed bag but it is already set: $1K on furniture and $2K on stays at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place (ORD) and Grand Hyatt Manila

Well, never mind then...:) What is the "Discover new possibilities" promo, anyway. Wrong thread?

If one is a Milepoint P2, then they could buy a $3334 Hyatt Gift Card for $3000, get the points, the bonus and and extra $334 to spend at Hyatt whenever they choose, as the cards do not expire.
