A case for not using AEROPLAN

Discussion in 'Air Canada | Aeroplan' started by guinnessxyz, Nov 26, 2012.  |  Print Topic

  1. I just priced an AE ticket to Europe in J with departure in December and return in early Jan . With taxes and fees the ticket will cost me over $1300. If I buy the same ticket in T+ it will cost me $1540 and I can use my ecerts for a upgrade. Ticket is for my spouse and flights being considered are wide open and likely to stay that way .

  3. Sort of but seasonal flights with little business traffic are pretty easy to UG.

$240 to get the ~9K status miles (with the current T+ promo) and ~12K AP miles looks like a pretty good deal.
