Like many other MP'ers, I tend to use ANA's tool to do my *Alliance award availabilty research. It is known, however, that the tool doesn't show all connection options. The general solution is to check each segment separately. Now, I have noticed that if you call the Japanese call center, they quote verbatim what you see on the ANA website. But when you call the LA call center, they are somehow able to see all options. I find it easier to call than to check each option separately. Although I see benefit in using a combination of both.
