just cleared an upgrade for the 6:20pm MHT-ATL flight next monday. went into my reservation to see if this would get me a meal, and sure enough:

Departs: 6:20pm from Manchester, NH (MHT)
Arrives: 9:10pm in Atlanta, GA (ATL)
    Status: Confirmed
    Aircraft: MD-88

    First (V) Breakfast

So, a poll. will i get:
    (a) breakfast
    (b) dinner
    (c) the snack basket (which is what they had on the 7am "breakfast" flight a couple of weeks ago)
    (d) drunk

It should be dinner. The time is right and the I think the flight is long enough in miles. However, depending on the aircraft, it might be cold as not all planes have ovens. (They were removed for weight, the plane's not yours.)

I've seen this mistake before where delta.dumb thinks all meals are breakfasts.

If you don't get breakfast, show them your reservation and as many at FT would do DEMAND compensation!!! ;)

Maybe you will get some rice krispies you can munch with your Chardonnay...

The snack basket goes better with wine.

Maybe this is DL's new cost cutting strategy. If they call every FC meal breakfast, they can avoid serving alcohol because who drinks at breakfast time?

Isn't that what a screwdriver (OJ and Vodka for the FA that I had to explain it to a few trips back) was made for?

I like to make a hot airplane breakfast, like you still get on long-haul in BE, into brunch by having champagne with it.

    and the verdict is: (b) + (d)!

great FA, did a nice predeparture announcement to the cabin that there would be dinner, and that because this is an odd-numbered flight, he will start taking choices from row 4. (not what Seat1A wants to hear, but oh well...)

Glad they served dinner. Did you get your first choice for meal selection though?

I thought they weren't supposed to be doing FEBO.

They told us at the ATL DO that FEBO is not what FAs are supposed to do.
