fantastic that the mini cabin is still in tact. i say 11DG 12DG will be the best for two together.

For a family of 4 traveling would you recommend the mini cabin, 11AD & 12AD? I currently have 19AD & 20AD reserved. Does anyone has pictures of the mini cabin?

I'll try but the flight is in July. BTW I changed to 11&12 G/K on HKG-YYZ flight which will be in old Olympus seats (sorry I got confused).

For a ORD-HKG this october, my wife and i have chosen two singles on the side (11K and 12K) rather than two in the middle (we are always sitting next to each other but this way we thought we have an opp to both have a window without crawling over someone:))

So from what I gather in this thread these should be quiet seats without problems due to the lavatory behind 12 .... we have been in the mini cabin on AF (row 4AB) on the 777 and like the feel of a two row mini cabin ... does anyone have any actually experience / pics with this new configuration?

    Travelman,
My wife and I are traveling the same route in July. Did you end up sitting in 11/12K? Would you recommend or would it make more sense to sit side by side in G/D or even do G/K?
    Thanks for any insight!

The only advantage of doing 2 window seats is just that; you both have window seats. Otherwise, the best pairing is easily the 2 middle seats in the mini cabin. They are PERFECT for traveling companions. My fiancee and I loved it when we went in October - http://infam.us/viDGZG

Question the Amadeus seatmap (KVS) shows 11 D & G as prefered seats - will AA be able to request those for me at the 180 day out point? I have no status with AA.

yes. you can request 11D and G. use classic check my trip and you can get the CX locator (or ask AA for the same when you book) and go in yourself to get them. you might be removed from them if pax need them, however.

i booked my inlaws in 11D/G at 180 days out and they had no issues for their flight.
