As rwoman noted earlier this AM, the seat maps are now active for these maps. I figured some might want to see the lay outs, etc. since the topic came up quite often over the last few months.

    So here they are -

F cabin has 2 rows of 4 seats, 8 total seats. A 50% reduction in F cabin seats over the 772. No idea if pilot rest seats will still be required.

    First.png

J cabin has a mini cabin of 8 seats, and then from Row 5 to 15. So a total of 52 J seats.

    Business.png

Main Cabin Extra is 27 seats. I wonder if Row 16 will have even more room as an exit row?

    MCE.png

The Y cabin is, of course, the much ballyhooed 3 - 4 - 3. However, for purists, it looks like Rows 20-32 and 41-43 go back to 2 seat sides. This might mean that despite the addition of MCE, the best seat on the 773 could still be Row 31 with only 2 seats and the additional leg room. Restrooms move from the sides to the interior where the FA rest bunks used to be with what looks like a galley added.

    Happy Memorial Day weekend!

Did you lose EXP or status when you pulled your screen shot? :)

Looks like EF has the seat maps already live and with premium/paid seats. Seatguru and Seatexpert are yet to load.

Gives some appeal to the 2-3-2 configuation on 767's! :)

I secretly had hoped that this "new F" would be done a la new LH F. A seat and a bed for each pax. I guess I dreamed too much :p

Hi David, thanks for the info! Just one thing... I'm sure you meant to write rows "30-32" have the 2-seat config, instead of "20-32."

Oh, then I also remember the big issue re: AA FA refusing to do "turndown services" when they introduced that not too long ago. What's the point of a bed without a turndown service? ;)

It just amazes me that the US airlines stay a step or two behind the top carriers. You'd think that when they go through mega upgrades to cabins, they'd shoot for the top to be competitive with the best, and not shoot for still being in the 2nd tier.

For once I have AA envy, but in no way am I ever switching.
IMHO, you'll need the 52 seats for all the SWU's AA gave, including to dead people

^^ well, we do have a strick "no trolling" policy on TB, I think most people find that avoids 60% of this kind of nonsense just at that policy alone.
