Other than getting slightly more recline and getting to use the Flagship Check-in/lounge, what are the other differences/perks of booking FC vs Biz on the 767-200? Is there a different menu? Will be redeeming AA miles for this trip. Thanks!!

Btw, whats the ideal CPM when redeeming miles for premium cabin on international flights? Isnt it above 6 CPM?

Why? Are they older than the MD-80's?

They do not use them for international routes.

Funny you mention. I was on a 767-200 in J perhaps three years ago and indeed, the first officer came out with duct tape to tape up the oxygen mask compartment.

Thankfully, while J was full, F was not, and the two pax in these J seats got a "post departure" upgrade to F.

I don't think so. But I wouldn't fly one of those to London either :)

Thanks everyone!! So, would you rather fly on a 737-800 in FC and miss out on flagship check-in/lounge or take advantage of all that in FC on the 767-200?

    1) LAX-JFK (F on 767-200) // JFK -GIG (J on 767-300)
    OR
    2) LAX-DFW (F on 737-800) // DFW-GIG (J on 767-300)

    Thanks!!

If you've never done transcon F and find airline benefits fun to try, you should try it once.

Otherwise, just go with the shortest routing or most convenient schedule.
