What's the best Marriott right now in your opinion, incl. in Bangkok and Thailand as a whole? @Kalboz

    Thanks for your insights. :)

My opinion is biased ;) and my vote goes to the Marriott Sukhumvit 57 due to the awesome treatment and recognition we received during our 40+ nights we enjoyed at this property in the past two years! :)

Thanks Kalboz, :) how about the JW Marriott Bangkok? Any news or changes experienced over the past few years?

Great place for the single guy or couple that would enjoy the nightlife of lower Sukhumvit and wouldn't mind the walk in the oppressive heat to the nearest BTS station. Used to have its glory days 10 or so years ago. Our last stay was in October 2012, and we weren't treated very well by the newby staff, veteran managers were also gone, and, hence, we haven't been back since. YMMV, though ;)
