    Good Day Fellow MPers...
I received an email from AA's Business ExtrAA today wishing me a happy new year & with a few promos.

One of the promos was for Vertical Response, an email campaign service.
The offer says "If you spend $5 or more, you'll be awarded 1000 Business ExtrAA points."
That's enough for a free one-way upgrade within North America on AA with a 30 day confirmation window or 3 Admiral's Club passes.

    Offer:

I received the same thing and was wondering if it was a good deal... but the mention of "Email Marketing" had me thinking it's spam... :)

Looking at the site, it looks like this is somewhat related to what the company does. They provide email marketing (read: spam services :) ), social marketing (read: spam over facebook), postcards (spam over snail mail) and other services.

Note that BE upgrades are restricted to certain classes and are NOT applicable as regular upgrades, e.g. deep-discount fares.

Well I signed up with one of my spare email accounts. If anybody has any ideas as to what to actually purchase to meet the requirements, I'm all ears.
