Seems to be a waste to not go into town for a little bit. Thoughts/recommendations? This will be on a Sunday early afternoon.

You might have 90 mins in town, assuming you have to be back 90 mins before flight time. Doable if you don't have to cart bags around but not a lot of time. Get a snack or a meal, it's too short for a decent museum and stores will be closed as it's Sunday.

There's an air museum close to CDG that might be fun to visit. AFAIK this would require a taxi and you would need to arrange a taxi for the return to the airport. This was discussed somewhere on FT with more specific information about their hours, price, and logistics.
