Now that almost every flyer has a smartphone, and almost every airport has charging stations to power up these devices, savvy travelers know to load up on handy apps. But which ones are the best for your entire flight process—from booking that cheap ticket to saving yourself when things go wrong? The apps below are so helpful, we suspect the airlines would prefer you didn't actually use them.

Just a small thing, but it's not "illegal" to be stuck on a tarmac for over three hours, but rather the airline is subject to a fine of up to $27,500 per passenger (with other out-clauses in there too).

Also, the other "app" that all phones have that some airlines probably don't like is a clock.

Has anybody tried any of those apps? I have tried Priority Pass, but it lists PP lounges only and will not show any other lounge like the article describes.
IMHO, I do not even know why somebody needs one of those apps

I just looked up the Priority Pass aplication.... and there seem to be three different ones. I downloaded the one with the logo that looks familiar (same as what I have on my membership cards)..... anybody know what the other apps do...? Thanks.
