What are your ideas for a 48h-stay in Jakarta?
What do you call a "Must Do" or "Must See"?

Eat whale sashimi at Ajihara (Jl. Melawai IX No. 3A, Blok M), find out just how un-Islamic Jakarta can get at Stadium's all-weekend party (but watch out for the sword-wielding drug dealers), then catch the next plane to Bali?

If you are a party animal.... you need to hit a couple of the expat bars, and if its open, the (in)famous Tanamour is not to be missed. Be prepared to get heavy sales pitches from the hired company... but take it with a smile, its part of the "decor".... :D

If you like soft shell crab, and can live with less than spotless cleanliness... (but the crab is to die for), get a car to take you to Glodock..... you will not be dissapointed.

If you like Dim Sum, check out Furama on Hayum Wuruk. All you can eat, cooked to order, during lunchtime. Great shrimp, scallop, and pork goodies. Less than $10. Most individual orders $1.50-$2.00 each, if you're not a glutton. :)
