At my local Safeway affiliate (Tom Thumb, Randalls, etc), they are offering a $10 store credit for $100 of Mastercard gift/debit cards. The cards have a $5.95 activation fee, so you end up making about $4. Also, since this is a grocery purchase, the extra 4% Q2 bonus can be earned. Unfortunately, the cards apparently must be used as credit, so can't be used at debit only locations, and you can't get cash back. This sounds great, but I did have to go to the customer service desk when my $10 coupon didn't print. They didn't have a problem giving me a store gift card.
