"$4,500 dinner bill from a group of British Airways exec's into nine plane tickets".

In a recent NYTIMES article a restaurant owner took nine plane tickets instead of charging the BA exec's their $4,500 tab.

The article doesn't say what class or where they could go with the tickets.

If you were the owner would you take the same deal?

There are so many variables you can't even choose...

Sounds like 9 $500 vouchers or something, which is completely different from 9 plane tickets.

If you're talking about 9 actual tickets, even in coach, anywhere BA flies that could be worth a whole lot more than $4,500.

And 9 plane tickets in First or Business is another thing altogether.

He gave away the tickets to his employees so he must of had a nice profit margin on that dinner bill! I'd take the tickets too
