This card is apparently Chip & PIN, not Chip & Sign.

Here is the link I got in an email letting me know when to expect my new (and improved) card. I currently have the Platinum Visa--which I really like b/c it has a lower AF then the Signature version. It looks like the WEMC is the only version of the new card being offered. Obviously a WEMC comes with more benefits than a Platinum Visa but often comes with a much higher AF as well. This may be the last cycle I carry a HA credit card...

    (FAQ tab)

How does my chip card work?

Your card is a chip and signature card with PIN capability. In most cases when you travel abroad, you’ll be asked to sign for your transaction. But at some unattended terminals, such as train ticket kiosks, you may be asked to enter your PIN instead of signing. If you make a purchase in the U.S., you’ll continue to swipe your card the way you do today.

They sure make it confusing, hopefully some will be able to take advantage. Barclays is is a non-starter for me for the past year.

Does anyone know if the one time 50% companion fare offer is good for Extra Comfort seats? Or is it strictly coach?

Thanks! I wish they would do 25-30% off Extra Comfort. That would be ideal.
