Cool, although I think these advertised prices exclude taxes. For example, CO.HOU-PAR.KLXNC13S prices as $83 outbound plus $83 return plus $420 fuel surcharge = $586 which matches the advertised price IAH-CDG ... but after US taxes, immigration and customs fees, and French taxes, the total price is $711.50.

These fares have a LOT of availability, which is great.

Well, compared to your normal 'sale' fare emails...this one is actually halfway decent.

I just tried following the direct email link from my laptop to see total prices, but it's not working. Anybody else having this issue? Also, I couldn't find the link or info directly from .bomb

Nope, the links in the OP don't work. Can't find anything on the UA site, but on the CO site is a link to a 3-day Europe sale:

    http://www.continental.com/CMS/en-US/content/deals/offers/Pages/EuropeSale.aspx

    Alas... it's returning

    Service Unavailable

Infected by the .bomb virus? ;)

    Ah, that dreaded .bomb virus!

I just looked on ita at a couple long weekends on *A from DEN to GVA (ski Chamonix!) or FCO for high 700's which is around 7cpm.

I looked at a number of long weekends all throughout Jan, Feb. Also looked for my friend out of PHX and they were similar. I might try to go to Rome for a weekend in Jan, GVA in Mar if rates stay that low.

A few of the other Star Alliance partners are also doing the 3-day sale:

I booked CDG for $800 (7.8cpm so pretty good imo). My sis booked three tickets from sfo to lhr and back from muc for around $750/ea on LU. LHR over mlk is around 8-9cpm from a couple different departure cities.

What's the max good cpm deal for int'l trips? I know that's a relative question to how you value miles, but it seems anything less than 10cpm is pretty good.

During the winter, 800 is probably the common 'good' price point. With right timing/luck, you can also find 600s (but for select cities, versus 800ish works almost all major airports in jan/feb). Or at least those are my general observations on winter UA europe pricing.
