Three airlines are offering competing proposals to add flights at Washington’s Reagan National Airport after Spirit Airlines moved its flight operations to Baltimore.

US Airways has proposed adding daily nonstop service between Washington and Oklahoma City. The airline would also add two daily flights between Oklahoma City and Charlotte, N.C.

Southwest Airlines is also making a bid for slots at Reagan National to offer daily roundtrip service to Houston.

JetBlue Airways is seeking slots to operate roundtrip service between Washington and Jacksonville, Fla.

US Airways should be ashamed of the service it offers to customers Gate 35A at Ronald Reagen Airport. There is utter confusion at this gate. It is miracle that flights parked in a distant parking lot is taking off. It is the bus drivers' magnamity that you get into the right flight as none in the area knows which plane is for which destination. The yelling at the 3 doors by gate attendants reflects fish market shouting. There is absoultely no system in place at this gate.US airways wants to be World's biggest airline. Shame on them!!!
