I got an email from Delta telling me I can enjoy 25% savings on a bottle of Johnnie Walker® Blue Label® Scotch. Plus, custom engraving and standard delivery are free until June 30th.

    Link here

So now I can get that bottle for $200 instead of $265. :D

Wow that's pricey... Blue is $180 around these parts when you just walk into the store to buy it.

But it is engraved. This way you can remember your name after you've downed half the bottle.

I thought only downing half the bottle for a MPer was showing restraint. :D

One would be likely to remember one's name after anything less than half a bottle. I'm just trying to justify a reason for engraving.

This could make a nice business gift. Will they ship to third parties? Assume not to Japan?

I've been to a lecture about whiskey once by a Johnnie Walker ambassador (it's a real job!) . He told us that the older whiskeys were created unintentionally by the distilleries, when they had a surplus of whiskey from years with weak sales. So older whiskeys are just a matter of taste no necessarily a measurement of quality.

In New Hampshire Johnnie Walker blue is $180 for 750ml and $330 for 1.75. There is no sales tax!

You bet, I do all my alcohol shopping in NH. Have a place in VT so when there I often make a special trip to NH, prices are way better than NY!
