    I had seen on various frequent flyer blogs of short-lived offers for 25,000 AAdvantage Miles for New DirecTV customers, but this offer clearly states it’s valid until 3/14/2012:

    I can’t vouch for DirecTV since I’ve never had their service before.

    TL;DR..... even though the 25K AA miles are tempting...

    last time i did the deal with verizon Fios for 10k AA miles, the miles never came, and both Verizon and AA pointes the finger to the other party

    25,000 miles is tempting, that's worth at least $250, so over 2 years commitment, about $10/month on top of already pretty low price. I am seriously considering to jump on this. Does anyone know what people do if they want internet service? Do they just stay with their cable company and drop cable? Currently we have Cable + Internet, and cell phones.
