    The Tel Aviv Marathon was one which I had wanted to run for a while. I had run the Jerusalem Marathon (a couple of times) and the Tiberias Marathon (my first marathon) and have been looking forward to Tel Aviv. Since Tel Aviv is a place I have been to many times, it was a city that I was looking forward to seeing on foot over the course of 26.2 miles. 2014 Tel Aviv Marathon Review Introduction The Tel Aviv Marathon is known for being a fast course but also a hot one. In fact, it was so hot last year that they cancelled it to avoid any chance of injury by the runners. Even with the possibility of heat, the race draws around 35,000 runners over the different distances so it is definitely a major event! The city of Tel Aviv has a very different personality from the other cities in Israel. It is known as “The City That Never Sleeps” in the Middle East and attracts millions of visitors...
