Salmon salad on today's 1245 DFW-SFO (other choice was adobe chicken):
Cheese omelette on this morning's 0650 ORD-SFO:
I forget what this was called, some sort of beef with "truffled" gnocchi in J on CDG-DFW 1/3/12 (completely lacking in truffle flavor though). AA continues to impress me with how they're able to keep the meat medium rare. Ended up having some of the same crew back from Paris that we had on the way over. Phillipe was our purser on the way over, and although he worked the flight on the way back was not the purser on the return. He is a fantastic asset to AA. Very professional crew all around.
And they're offering VINTAGE champagne now!
View of the other birds at the gate, waiting to depart CDG 1/3/12.
Here's a shot shortly after takeoff from CDG, before we got completely above the clouds
...and here's how things looked once we actually did
I posted this shot over on 'General Discussions - Travel' on Saturday, before having seen this thread. The pic shows an AA 737-800 that took us from DFW to LAX that evening. It has the "retro" look and the "Astrojet" livery from the 1960s. http://milepoint.com/forums/attachments/image-3581377627-png.23048/
That is a good looking aircraft!
Lunch (cheese enchilada) on the 1230 departure FLL-ORD (other option was a salad). This has become my favorite AA lunch option the last year.
Dinner on the 1615 departure ORD-SFO:
Breaded chicken (other option was pasta shells):
That was the IDENTICAL F meal as on the Saturday night 6:05 p.m. departure DFW - LAX. Shrimp, salad, breaded chicken, dessert. Exactly. And the other option was. . . pasta shells!
Breakfast Scramble, AA 149 IAD-LAX, 7 Jan
Appetizer (Prosciutto w/ melon puree) and Salad (Sour Cream/Herb dressing)
AA 144, LAX-IAD, 8 Jan
And the entree filet and sides from same flight
Some photos from the AA terminal at ORD between 3-3:30pm this afternoon:
Stuffed pasta shells on the 1615 ORD-SFO (filled with ricotta cheese):
No AA specific items in these photos, but I figured I'd help keep the thread alive. Flew AE from ELP to LAX today
Landing (hard to get a good picture at night from a plane with your phone!):
Hey, I think the picture is just fine. Nice shot!
"Please turn off and stow any electronic devices, anything with an on/off switch. The screen must be totally blank."
That recording came on about a minute later.
Airliners.net moved this one this morning. The lady in 1A looks awfully happy for an Eagle passenger Must be EXP or PLT, or at least GLD, to have grabbed that seat, I guess. LOL. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Amer...52052/L/&sid=7a666cf4946bf1e28c773a9048a2ab4a
Eagle should get rights to use that one for advertising!
From the OWMegaDO this AM:
From the MegaDO, the AA System Operation Center (SOC) in Dallas:
Oatmeal on the 9am SFO-ORD (my favorite breakfast item--wish we saw it more often):
Chooza Tikka Masala--tandoori marinated chicken breast in a rich fenugreek tomato sauce served with lemon rice and Dahl elaichi Rajni (signature Maneet Chanuhan item) DFW-LHR 29 Jan
Grilled Citrus Scallops served with marinated cucumber salad
Seasonal salad DFW-LHR 29 Jan
