    I'm moving my annual thread over here.

    I'm PM right now. I flew my first segments of the year today. It was a nice respite from the road.

    I'll edit this as the year progresses.

    Upgrades: 1/1 (100%)

    02/17 PHL-MSP (cleared at the 5-day window)

    Tomorrow's flight cleared to DCA ! and Friday return just cleared too (1/1) on direct for Feb (3/3) total

    Pretty decent upgrade percentage -- the MSN-SFO was during Macworld I believe so no shocker that I didn't clear on an MD-88 or MD-90 can't recall...happy camper with wifi -- just wish I could find the elusive cheeseburger again -- only had it on a 757 -- so perhaps that is the secret.
    10/12 = 83% not so bad for first month think it will be easier in March when the diamonds drop off who didn't requalify. Just noticed first two posts by MSN based fliers cool -- off to DCA tomorrow.

    LAX-ATL on a Sunday Morning, 767 sat in the back
    JFK-LAX on Super Bowl Sunday, 757 upgraded at gate.

    I missed my first upgrade last year as well (LAX-DTW) but was 100% for the rest of the year on domestic trips (no OpUps though)

    My next trip is on AF (upgraded to Affairs with SWU). The one after that has LAX-JFK and ATL-LAX legs so I'll cross my fingers.

    I am 5/5 between LAX-JFK (4 as PE/PM and 1 as DM) so I figure my luck must run out soon.

    I always keep my upgrade percentages in my signature - and they're updated weekly. I'm 100% on DL this year so far including the award ticket I booked last minute. So far my flights for next week have upgraded at the window and I'm praying for an OpUp MSP-LHR next week :) It's 9's across the board but the back of the bus is looking pretty darn full already.

    I am Gold Medallion. My companion is nothing.

    On Thursday, July 28 I will be flying NYC - ATL - SJU (San Juan, Puerto Rico)
    My companion will be flying ATL - SJU.

    Does anyone have any insight into upgrade loads on the ATL - SJU flights? Any shot if I add her as a companion that we will both clear? It will probably be a K or T ticket. I am not sure what the medallion loads look like on that flight.

    Regardless of whether she may or may not clear, I would call the Gold Medallion line and request an upgrade for your companion on the ATL-SJU leg.

    I'm doing better this year than I expected, plus I got an opup TXL-JFK in April. I have two more JFK-SFO trips this summer, so I expect my success percentage to slip. I barely got the JFK-SFO upgrade on the March trip, with 29 people behind me!

    Thanks for your note. I am trying to decide whether to fly NYC - SJU direct or connect in Atlanta to even give her the shot at having an upgrade... If i end up connecting in ATL i will definitely request an upgrade regardless... was just hoping to hear about some of the first class load factors and upgrade lists on the route..
