A 14-year-old boy was charged Thursday with two felony counts of pointing a green laser at a jetliner and a Los Angeles Police Department helicopter, the District Attorney's Office said.
The teen allegedly directed the beam at Southwest Airlines Flight 326 about seven miles from Los Angeles International Airport just after 7 p.m. on Feb 8, said Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the District Attorney's Office.

Agree, but the strange thing is there were several cases like this last year and I thought one kid got off with a slap on the wrist.
