Just hit 1000 nights at Starwood properties. Does anyone know if that merits anything from Starwood?
Nothing official I'm aware of. There is Lifetime status at 250 nights (Gold) and 500 nights (Platinum). But, there are year thresholds as well. 5 years as an elite for LT Gold and 10 years as PLT for LT Plat.
ETA: changed LT Gold to 5 years as pointed out by those below, because, well, I'm old and forgetful.
Thought it was 5 years for LT Gold.
Thought so too.
Bad memory. Thanks for the correction!
Only 1,000 nights recognition I know of is HHonors providing they were all paid nights and you have 10 years of D status.
Regardless, you are a great customer and probably a lot of SPG properties "recognises" you as a VIP
These are indeed lots of nights, I hope that only good experiences were to be had and SPG recognizes the 1000 nights as something special.
